Lovers of luxurious lifestyle, during the course of their survival are tyranny to mankind. Many luxury loving rulers have been and continue to be the cause of sufferings for the citizens. So many luxury loving employers have been bankrupt causing unemployment to their workers, supporting large families. So many luxury loving land lords cause unforeseen hardships for their farm employees.

Luxurious lifestyle is destined to end in disaster and destruction. This is punishment for misuse, overuse and illegitimate use of resources created for mankind. In modern world this disease is most dominant amongst the people and families of countries of Subcontinent of South Asia. And this is the cause of suffering of common man of these areas. In some cases the disease is hereditary, in some cases it is the form of imitating the chronic patients of this disease and in other cases it is the result of infection of deceptive media displays. Infected persons unable to maintain luxury within hard earned legal financial resources, start exploring unfair sources of income. On the whole the disease serves as nucleus of crime, corruption and profuse cause of many social evils including sexual promiscuity leading to VDs and AIDS.

Apart from undermining the human values of sound character and conduct, the short span of luxurious lifestyle of a man ruins the personality of numerous persons around an in contact with him by inducing a sense of dominated mentality in them. This results in increasing number of people / families surrendering their dignity and quality of commendable personal values. Verily ordinary people are generally unaware of their so many personal great qualities. So unintentionally they surrender and fall over to lust and shine of luxurious lifestyle, becoming prey to enslaved mentality.

All luxury loving professionals, including politicians are of no value to the well fare of their state and its citizens. All of them are for grabbing and not for contributing. As an extreme example a luxury loving physician cares more for patient’s money than concentration on cure to his / her disease.

Coming out of the court of justice in a manner more joyous than conquering the apex of some mountain far higher than the Mount Everest and waiving to the multitude like great winner, is a style affording considerable entertainment mixed with quaint curiosity for the gentleman of judiciary and ruling lot of the states of the world. December 19, 2012 displays of TV channels add another scenic beauty to the political history of Pakistan. These TV displays will certainly record a curious message for the patriotic promising lot of generations to come. With the state of citizens problems’ of acute shortage of natural gas, electricity and destructive setbacks to railways and the national airline combined with grave situation of law and order, un-tackled extremism, out of control market prices, rampant corruption, day by day boosting crimes and increasing foreign debts; these TV displays are far more than chins down.

There are limitless serials for listing species of corruption & misappropriation, starting from dishonesty down to acceptance to undue regards and flattery. A confirmed dishonest professional of any discipline whatsoever, especially including active members of politics simultaneously affecting the nationals as a whole, remains cursed with un-satiated greed for whole of his life span. No spiritual discipline or ethics can bring him around for honesty which he always ridiculous both loudly and voicelessly. Only remedy for him stands in confiscation of his entire declared and undeclared assets for transfer over to the pool of public funds, before sending him behind the bars, after adequate number of lashes as and if ordered by the court of law. A confirmed dishonest businessman involved in adulteration and over advertisements for sake of his fake and substandard commodity, maybe treated likewise as decided by court of justice. A dishonest laborer or contract employee may simply be relieved off his employment with due payments. Dishonest professionals and businessmen are not even least sincere to any country of the world and thus they may always be treated in line with traitors.

Coming down to last specie of corruption and misappropriation involving persons sumptuously fond of undue regards and appreciations, they may simply be ignored and neglected as future itself will take care of them. During week ending December 14, 2012, the statement of a highly placed railway officer was: “If there is corruption is railway, there is corruption in every department”. Alongside he has encouraged all institutions of the country, not so far amongst corrupt departments, to avail of the opportunity and get corrupt before some stick-man comes to set things right. It is necessary that some authority takes action against this officer. According to my personal experience with extensive railway journeys, Pakistan Railway started corruption first of all at the very commencement of independence. In view of the dark experience of railway trains’ journeys, anybody can think of the large scale corruption in all other sections of Pakistan Railway less connected with railway track and the passengers. This predicts that instead of looking at the remedies for eradication or minimizing corruptions, all departments will start quoting corruptions of the other departments, in order to continue the abuse.

Propagation of corruption proceeds according to geometrical progression of mathematics, which is the most devastating rate of acceleration that devours everything. Now somebody might come forward to quote the example of many other countries for supporting corruption. He knew that in the course of his efforts for finding a separating homeland for the Muslims of sub-continent, people sacrificed selflessly:-

1- Ninety thousand Muslim women were abducted and most them were raped and killed.

2- Thousands of infants and weaponless young and old men were slaughtered.

3- All types of property managed through life long labor and hardships were destroyed or looted.

4- Countless families had been completely smashed.

5- Parents, children, brother, sisters were separated from each other.

6- Numerous men and women could not tolerate the shock of bloodshed and destruction and suffered from mental disorder and ultimately died mad.

7- As one of many incidents, three young daughters of Abdus Sattar of Jammu abstinently offered there throats to be cut to avoid abduction.

Application of extra ordinary capabilities for propagation of knowledge beneficial for mankind, do carry responsibilities of utmost care for physical and mental health as well as commanding control over human passions. Capabilities without alertness for overall health, end in catastrophe. Most probably this is what must have happened with invaluable baby. Maybe her heart functioning mal-practice started months ago. Maybe her diet was not proper as compared to her routines. Maybe she had been entering a domain of unexplored discoveries which involves considerable shuffling of the passions. Maybe she had explored something that overwhelmed her beyond her controlling powers of her passions, and thus unable to bear the resultant ecstasy, she collapsed.

We learnt a lot from her knowledge and her contributions. Let us now learn from her sudden death at such young age. The lesson for everyone of us is in the air. Person’s qualities and capabilities for his country and for human beings in general are very closely linked with his overall health. Regular daily physical exercise is principle key to make your capabilities to be beneficial for others. A few minutes of some type of spiritual concentration, like Yoga or Muslim daily prayers can provide you with sound control over your passions. An abrupt break during piercing stages of your professional performance can refresh you more than anything else.

Health means overall health; physical health, health of the mind, health of passions control, health of conducts i.e. invaluable honesty and sincere goodwill for all.

3- The statement resembles Iranian Shah-in-Shah’s boundless permissiveness to foreigners which concluded drastic massacre and destruction of state’s resources for resuming authority of the people of the state.

4- There is Hades of difference between a facility offered generously for international peace and a facility surrendered in exchange for something demanded.

5- No authority, whatsoever, has the right to play with people’s bestowed powers against the people and their generations’ interests. Every hour we need to learn from history because this cruel thing repeats itself cruelly without even least regards.

Technologies must be based on research and transfer of informations on the basis of international relationships and not on the basis of surrendering state’s and citizens’ rights of possessions.

The climax of simplicity of the members of this group is unawareness that they are dividing country’s population into classes. They are estranging 85% rural population, who are proud of their own traditions, culture and ways of communication.

Second missionary comprises of administration and members of TV / Cable, Newspapers and Journals. They are rigorously and sincerely putting in their day and night efforts for teaching and introducing to the young generation, very practically indeed, western styles of speaking, wearing, eating, behaving and conducting. These members of second missionary and their families are surviving with the entire resources of the country but everyone of them carries deep respect and sincerity for the ex-master’s life style in every way. They display and pursue:

1- Flying dingy hair and naked armpits in a country where 100% women of every religion cover their head and body in respectful compliance to their thousands of years’ traditions.

2- Foreign lifestyle deserves representations instead of thousands of years of graceful respectable traditions.

3- Minimum possible dress for women especially between neck and navel, but complete dress for men from toes to throat.

4- Sex scenes from Mumbai and west or from any country as available.

5- Introducing baby models inspite of knowing that their life will be utterly spoiled.

All these services do not add a single dollar / pound into their pockets.

Ironically, highly educated western young and old ladies embracing Islam are becoming example of Islamic Hijab.

All above details instantly hit at two impressions:

1- Is it reaction of getting separated from Bharat Mata?

2- Is it reaction of departure of ex-colonial rulers?

3- Is it reaction of unwillingness for celebrating women day every year?

Western women’s huge gathering, first of human history, in Rome, during 2011, strongly protested against making women sex figures for advertisements, television and offices / business places. It appears this tremendous protest doest not carry any message for the institutions of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. There is no plan for getting rid of ex-master’s lifestyle.

Independence does not mean procuring a piece of land. Independence means confident respect and regard for own traditions, culture and lifestyle. Anybody not in possession of this mentality will always be a slave in Makka or London or Paris or New York. Such persons are never sincere to any places they live in. They do not know the meaning of self respect. They will always keep changing their garb till death.

Custodians of Two Nations Theory give every indication that they are permissive with such state of affairs. It appears that massacres of 1947, Ahmadabad 2002 and almost daily in Kashmir, carry no meaning. If not, they must come forward to guide the departments of information ad broadcast to adopt the path conversant with the creation of Pakistan. As politicians are always busy in race for grabbing the power chair, it is for the scholars and religious leaders to guide the information and broadcasting sections for adopting the reasonable path. Imitation of Mumbai and West will be of no benefit except sex crimes and extremism, which are natural products in such situations.

Now know something about free nations and their free citizens. They love their own language and way of living:

1- Only weeks after disintegration of the Soviet Union, a very senior engineer of Bulgaria was eagerly explaining to me in Iraq that during entire period of Russian occupation they remained busy in translation of all species of terminologies over to their native language, and now they use their own language in all categories of knowledge.

2- In Saddam’s Iraq, I have never heard a single English word from an Iraqi during four year period in Iraq. Only a few people know and use English for specific official matters only.

3- In Saddam’s Iraq, spelling English words correctly was not at all compulsory for medical students. Inspite of that their treatment competence was much better as compare to Pakistani physicians. A Pakistani patient declared incurable for his breathing problems was perfectly treated healthy by Iraqi physicians.

4- Iranian’s whole system is without English.

5- Immigrants from Russia and China have been continuing to live according to their traditions for hundred of years. Quite a lot of them do not know a single word of the language of the land they are living in, away form their original homeland.

Situation discussed above certainly does not exist in any civilized or even underdeveloped state of the world. Judiciary of a state constitutes experts oozing out of a rigorous and multi dimensional process of selection. In all fairness their scrutinizing and ultimate verdicts are based on a tiresome process of investigations and witness. A person or a group of persons unfamiliar and un-conversant with the sequences of the whole process stands before a gathering and declare openly that since the decision by the judiciary is against his or their wishes and expectations, it is injustice. Amongst such persons or groups, without a tinge of doubt, there are individuals who are not even ordinarily up to the standards of education or practical application of their willy-nilly qualifications.

Respect for the judiciary of a state is respect for the state itself. The state that embowers, rears and cares for our lives and honor. The state for the sake of which a soldier happily lays down his life leaving behind his family and dear ones, the state which has to be the abode of our future generations, the state which gives us a recognition amongst the community of mankind in the world. To speak against the judiciary and verily against the state is like crossing the limits beyond which very living thing fears.

Our judiciary is no less capable as compared to any judiciary of any country on the earth. It generates and a sense of security and functioning powers amongst various sections of institutions and society. It is generous enough in giving us chances of hearing us over and over again. Where then stands the chances of wishful attitude or self centered attitudes? Let us be grateful to Almighty for the piece of land separated from Bharat Mata, where perhaps, the very first word against the judiciary would have sent us behind the bars, where even a prime minister has been punished under peoples elected government and not under martial law, where so many state ministers are in jail during purely democratic rule.

Setting aside the previous Anti-Pakistan strategies, the most recent incidents & accidents of Drones Attacks, Raymond Attack, Abbotabad Operation, Memo Case, Killing of unretaliating officers & soldiers and apologetic statements bearing under-lips smiles, give very clear gesture which even blinds can see and feel. Friendship with America is friendship exclusively 100% for America, at the cost of existing and future generations of Pakistan. We must not have joined SEATO & CENTO at any cost. Joining SEATO, CENTO proved to be mysterious bone breaking kicks to the interests of the nationals of Pakistan. Aid & debt dollars only benefitted Geneva Accounts, Luxurious life style, boost of unpermissible sex culture, corruption, misappropriations & mismanagements, crimes, sense of dependency and slavery.

Hundreds of years of past history speaks that America’s friendship with other countries is hundred percent for the interests of the United States of America, at the cost of countries falling prey to such friendship. Extra ordinary use of force, even against peaceful citizens inside their residences, in Iraq and Afghanistan convey a huge message. The friendship should have been at arms length within the bounds of the security and welfare of Pakistan and its citizens. Friendship should have been up to the limit, where Pakistani dead bodies are not for sale. Friendship should have been affording at least 90% benefits for this state and its people. Without America’s self centered friendship with us we would have been far more advanced nation amongst the world community. We would have known the art of storing dollars through our own hard works and research works, like China, India and so many other states on the globe.

If we do not respect the lesson got by us at limitless high cost, we are sure to destroy ourselves. The time is now or it is never. Let us be friend of America as exclusive Pakistanis and not as citizens of a buffer state of United States of America.

Crossing the limits of Almighty’s instructions causes suffering from the disease of “Ishq”, the very meaning of which is attachment beyond limits.

Responsible scholars have never used word “Ishq” in their speeches of writings. Only poets and novelists have profusely used this term especially in matters of sex relationships. Use of this term in relation to God or any of his Prophets will, therefore, certainly be liable to punishment by God. Every sane believer will obey God within limits specified by God.

Scholars have condemned “Ishq” (fanaticism) as highly injurious to positive powers of productive and creative capabilities.

“Ishq” for sex crosses all limits inflicting disgrace on sacred relationships and legal obligations. Ishq for a personality starts worships of that personality. Ishq for wealth never cares for legal or rightful.

All persons of sane state of mind have the right to reserve their opinion against the so called scholars who have encouraged for courting the disease of Ishq for any aspect of human life and behavior, including the religious affairs, in the past of at present.

A short while before starting journey for Badr, speeches of friends of Holly Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), clearly differentiate Rationalism from Fanaticism. Doubtlessly that was human beings first assembly free from all elements of flattery, self esteem and partiality, without crossing limits.

1- Part of Bhartia territory separated on justifications of Islamic values of Muslims, should be surrendered back to Bharat because Islamic values have not been introduced constitutionally and practically accept for lip homage to Islam and Two National Theory, during more than half century period.

2- Muslims in India, having population of total Muslim population of Pakistan, enjoy complete religious freedom. If ever they suffered for being Muslims, it was mere reaction of dividing the territory of Bharat.

3- What to talk of introducing Islamic constitution, every section of information and broadcast do not pay even lip homage to Islamic values. TV and printed materials in Pakistan do not differ much from those in India. So many TV channels in India are far more conservative as compared to Pakistani theaters and dress fashions, which have absolutely no relation to Muslims values and various territorial culture of Pakistan. In India we do care for the customs and values of various cultures. As an example, we care for values of Kashmiri and Rajasthani cultures and give similar care for other cultures of remote areas.

4- Bharti political leaders are always in local Indian dress, whereas Pakistani political persons never stick to their local wear. They are always changing their appearance in the matter of dressing. They appear to feel respectful in western dress.

5- At official level, Bhartia leaders have never supported sex displays and nudeness. Whereas Pakistani top leadership have supported, managed and encouraged Marathon Race, Valentine Day, Fashion Shows and Theaters.

6- Highest ranking political and defence persons have been punished by the Indian courts. A PM of India has also been punished amongst them. There is not even a single example of punishment through courts to status figures during the period of an elected government. In matters of lime light personalities, the elected governments have never seriously approached the courts of justice.

7- Bharat affords due respect and regards to territorial cultures and values, whereas in Pakistan these are practically termed as derogatory.

8- Bhartia governments afford financial help to Muslims pilgrimages for Hajj, whereas in Pakistan Hajj corruption is under investigation.

9- In India 11,000 trains reach destinations during every 24 hours period, whereas Pakistan railway is near extinction.

10- Inspite of natural disasters and terrorism Bharat moves ahead in developments in all spheres of life in the state.

11- India has been developing water resources as top priority, whereas in Pakistan dams are under political disputes.

12- There has never been martial law in Bharat.

13- Bhartia education system is far more sound as compare to Pakistan.

Getting impressed by an individual carries one of the two notions:-

I. Token of appreciation for individuals’ qualities.
II. Sense of inferiority on the part of impressed person.

Persons putting in specific efforts, aiming at impressing others to be a wonderful figure for them, by their luxurious standards of living, their ever decorated residence, their dresses, their vocal powers in which they use imported terminologies and etiquettes, ultimately end in miserable loneliness, destitution, dejection, disrespect, drugs addiction, poverty and multiple psychological disorders.

Peoples ignoring and postponing nation building process as a result of incompetent, corrupt or mediocre leadership, suffer most in matters of self respect, dignity and maturity. Respectable citizens of corrupt states belonging to any school of thought or religion can be benefited by behavior, conduct and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Renowned scholars of various schools of thought and religions, writers, mathematicians and historians have acknowledges this fact in best suiting expressions.

A person’s healthy mental maturity is judged from the ways he behaves with individuals of lower or higher status. If he feels boasted and elated in dealing with individuals of lower status, his mental health needs proper treatment. Next, if he feels slight and meek in dealing with people of higher status, his mental state requires training and treatment till perfect recovery. Such persons, unless completely cured, always carry parasitic behavior towards any responsibility, continuously looking for someone to do the job on his behalf. Due to miserable necessity of maintaining their false posture, they remain in search of illegal sources of earning, thus profusely contributing to multi-directional corruption and misappropriations, including sex affairs. So, on the whole they are root cause of all evils. Above all generally they do not have an iota of respect for sacred relations and any religion.

Such mental cases can be cured only by highly rigorous efforts of the psychiatrists, because they never accept that there is anything wrong with them. If left masquerading without treatment and cure, they are sure to transfer the symptoms of disorders over to their children and colleagues.

In any circumstances these individuals should not be entrusted with sensitive responsibilities connected to affairs of state and nation, because even meager threats including those connected with their personal drawbacks, will bring them to knees for surrendering and releasing sacred secrets of the state and the nation. Gentlemen are required to be highly careful in dealing with them for private affairs. It is very much likely that their disorders recur even after treatment and cure.

Established cultures will never adopt or absorb elements of alien cultures. So why introduce and display alien life styles in the sub-continent? Most of the species of crimes and corruption in sub-continent, are the result of deliberately forced introduction of baseless alien culture inside thousands of centuries’ old sound culture. Daily news papers speak of the profuse sex crimes including those that involve minors and infants, rape, abduction, etc.

We do need to respect ourselves to let others respect us.

Railway journeys have been essential  for my professional responsibilities. Continuously for thirty five years, I have been traveling from North to South and from East to West in Pakistan. Following lines give a very very brief representative account of how paid employees on duty play havoc with their responsibilities. Permissiveness of irrelevant facilities without any degree of supervision and check, and over looking of small misappropriations in departments has encouraged boost of crimes and corruption in every molecule of the entire body of whole social setup. Some suggestions form part of the details below for authorities concerned.

The legal permissions of free private journeys for the railway employees continue to be misused. This sanctioned facility has given birth to countless off shoots which have been devouring the resources of the railway department very mercilessly. Not only the railway employees and their families but also the whole chains of their relatives, neighbors and relatives of neighbors and friends have been found to be managing for making use of this facility. A railway employee feels proud of offering even his least familiar friends to travel by train without ticket, advising “BUS MERA NAAM LE LENA.”

In 1962, I was proceeding to the Ticket Window at Rohri Railway Station, when a railway employee in uniform stopped me and asked me about where I was going. When I told him that I was going to purchase a first class ticket (Top Railway Class in that era) for Sukkur. He addressed me in these words: “Why waste money. Journey is short. You simply pay me half of the actual cost of the ticket and I shall manage your journey till you are out of Sukkur Railway Station”. When I refused and resumed walking towards Ticket Window, he continued walking behind me with offer of further less money in the deal. I did purchase ticket but I had been very much shocked and disturbed. It might be frivolous for some readers but due to the nature of rearing and teachings at school and college by the most responsible local and foreign teachers, of my institutions, the incidence did shock me as it was first of my long journeys from Rawalpindi.

In November 1991, I boarded the train from Rawalpindi to Sialkot. I entered the 24-Seats part of the compartment. All seats were occupied. I had to keep standing. After the train moved from Chaklala, a ticket checker entered the compartment, had a glance at the seated passengers and then asked me to show ticket. I produced the ticket which he checked. To my astonishment he started moving to other compartment without checking the seated passengers. I abruptly gripped his arm and asked him to check all the passengers. With a miserable grin he said “They are relatives of my colleague, going to a marriage party”. I still reserve my ticket of that occasion.

In 1998, on sudden death of my sister in Sialkot, I had to travel from Hyderabad with a ticket without reservation in economy class. I requested the person responsible for on spot reservation to reserve me a seat, stating the reason for my journey. The man told me that he could reserve a seat for me if I could pay him some money.

In year 2000, traveling in sleeper class from Sialkot to Lahore to Hyderabad, there were two different family groups in my cabin, consisting of two men and three women. They traveled up to Lahore and the ticket checker did not even ask them to show tickets. They must have already settled affairs mutually.

Honest citizens perhaps do not know that there is another meaning of word ‘Oblige’. It is not in dictionary. This type of ‘Oblige’ means picking pocket of some unfortunate stranger to afford financial aid to a friend. Here is how I learned this from an aged railway employee in year 2004. A group of three elderly railway employees dressed in uniform, standing in economy class near my seat, had been discussing something in Punjabi language. I was alerted to a statement by one of them. The statement was “You know, I obliged him so many times but he is utterly a thankless chap.” I was aroused by abrupt urge to interrupt asking the man about the nature of obliging his friend many times. He proudly explained that he permitted and managed his friend’s railway journeys without tickets.

I have generally seen ladies with very long ‘Tusbeeh’ moving their hand and lips silently. They always travel without ticket and nobody checks them as the ticket checkers are afraid of their curse. In all fairness, these ladies must be heavily fined and charged as they deceive God as well as people.

We have poor men hesitating to attend the funeral of their nearest relatives due to lack of money for railway journey. All Pakistanis be treated impartially. The rotten custom of “Hardships to be equally shared by all, facilities for Government and the companies’ employees only” must now be abolished.

For a poor and seriously indebted country of ours, I have never been able to understand:-

A. Unlimited free private journeys, legal or managed, by railway employees including highly paid officers, whereas our poor majority postpone or cancel journeys even for very urgent reasons.

B. Free electricity to WAPDA employees including highly paid officers.

C. Free gas to gas employees consuming precious energy ruthlessly whereas poor man hesitates even genuine consumption to avoid high bills.

D. Profuse concessions in Air tickets and number of journeys for very highly paid members of government sponsored Air Lines. I have known PIA employees weekly flying to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia, simply to buy kitchen items.

This limitless permissiveness reflects that governments have never assessed the degree of poverty and helplessness of poor lot of the country and the oft repeated boisterous statements in their favor are simply because they are the casting-vote for the power chair. We have been getting foreign loans with ever increasing interests their on and still we have permitted New York facilities to civil departments.

Let us learn to live within our means. Except for the disabled and the special persons, no free of cost facility should be permitted to anybody, who so ever. Government, semi government and even purely private bodies must see that nobody gets anything free of cost, so that every penny is accumulated for the benefits of the poors. This will definitely result in the following:-

1- A lesson to live within our own means.

2- Equal treatment for all citizens.

3- Funds for better maintenance of Railway, PIA, WAPDA and Gas companies.

4- A lesson going deep to minds to avail of a facility only on payment of cost.

Above incidents are only a very few of the activities connected to the train and the on board employees. Activities related to other numerous sections of the department can very well be assessed. The resultant impression speaks that misappropriations in this department has reached a stage of ‘right’ and consequently there appears to be no remedy for that.

In non corrupt states the patriotic politicians make use of every single day of their four, five or seven years’ tenure to do maximum long term benefits for the state and people. They are never greedy for another term and leave the decision up to the opinion of the citizens without any type of shinning slogans.

Corrupt greedy politicians of declared corrupt states always aim at continued grab of the power chairs. So they are always ready to cross any limit what so ever. Citizens are hereby alerted to expect any or most of the following:-

1- Whether in power or outside the government, they will continue to mercilessly waste thousand of yards of cloths and tons of paper for displaying their photographs and false slogans, in every nook of the state, throughout the year, to impress the illiterate innocent masses who form majority of voters.

2- To arouse pity and sympathy of the masses they will repeatedly mention the details of some past incidents, solely in their personal favor. They will not hesitate even to display on stage the affected men, women and children of the past incident.

3- They can indulge in horrible massacre of citizens of certain areas.
4- They can trespass or abolish the State’s constitution.
5- They can misbehave with judiciary to any extent.
6- They can plot against the very defence of the state.
7- As an extreme ultimate, they can invite the worst enemy country to interfere with any type of steps at its disposal.

1. Purposes, for which Pakistan had been procured at exceptionally high cost, have been practically forgotten.
2. Horrible massacre that occurred due to breaking of the Indian Territory has been practically forgotten.
3. Active practical application of contents of the Objective Resolution – the nucleus of Two Nations Theory – have been deliberately violated and ignored even after it became part of the State’s Constitution.

Let us recollect briefly both of these facts which no respectable Pakistani and his generations will ever forget:

A- Aims and purposes of procuring the State of Pakistan:
Pakistan had been procured for Islamic values of Muslims of India.

B- Circumstances under which the state of Pakistan was born:

1. Massacre of innocent children, women and men, simply because they were Muslims.
2. Abduction and sexual assault of Muslim females most of whom were later slaughtered.
3. Total extinction or shattering of peacefully living happy families.
4. Complete destruction of properties and possessions of life long hard works.
5. Losing of parents, sisters, brothers and near relatives.
6. Scenes of cruelty beyond human power to tolerate.
7. History of parents, sisters, brothers shocked to madness for life.

C- Abiding by the contents of Objective Resolution:
Class distinction has been generated amongst 85% villages’ population and 15% cities’ dwellers. Western impact on daily life in cities has no national tinge. This concludes that concentration on tactics for grabbing the Power Chair has eliminated the prime responsibility of nation building process through education and information & broadcasts / telecast.

Simple Justice demands that the governments, politicians, groups and individuals going against the purposes of creation of Pakistan, by even the smallest degree, must not remain to live free in Pakistan.

By all elements of justice and fairness, it stands as the accountable responsibility (on the Day of Judgment), on the part of every scholar, educationist, lawyer, and religious leader to perpetually keep the TV/Cable displays in line with the CAUSE of creation of Pakistan, through horrible process of PARTITION. THE CAUSE, due to which, Muslims in Kashmir and parts of India continue to sacrifice and suffer mercilessly. Affording due respect to the mode of sacrifices for creation of this state, even a judicious Hindu will plead for abiding by the CAUSE of PARTITION.

At exceptionally high cost that had been paid and continues to be paid by Muslims of Kashmir and India, we procured a new state on the basis of defined commitments. Now the prevailing situation in Pakistan gives every indication of defacing of our own commitments. Integral element of this new state’s survival is connected to active practical respect for our commitments, which additionally embower due respect for the mode of living of hundred percent of our ladies and gentlemen of all religions, maintained through thousands of years of history. This will certainly rid a section of our people, of the sense of inferiority that is displayed in minutely copying for every touch of living.

It is emphatically requested to all who respect and care for justice, to press upon governments and politicians of Pakistan to act strictly in line with THE CAUSE of creation of Pakistan. In all fairness, in case of Pakistan THE CAUSE stands first and everything else only the subsequent.

The recent gruesome murder of Salman Taseer, the governor of Punjab – the most populous and prosperous of the four provinces of Pakistan, at the hands of a member of his personal security squad has stunned almost the whole nation. A zealot, the guard claimed to have been motivated into committing this crime because he took offence to the views of the liberal governor who advocated a review of, what many believe, a faulty blasphemy law enacted by an earlier military dictator, General Ziaul Haq.

Unlike any verse from Quran, this law is man-made, one that is prone to misuse and one that can be reviewed and amended if found necessary. Hence if the governor of Punjab or any member of the legislature sought its review, they committed no crime. To make a man-made law so sacrosanct as to kill anyone who disagrees with it is outright barbarity. 

Fed on the frenzy created by semi illiterate and uncompromising clerics who have come to dominate the religious right, disciples like the murderer of the governor who come from poor and illiterate backgrounds are ready to go to any length to force their beliefs on an otherwise moderate society, even using violence if necessary.

Symbolizing the struggle between silent moderate majority that views Islam as a religion of love and tolerance and the vocal minority that represents orthodoxy and rigidity in religious views, this tragedy has stirred outrage among the moderates and liberals. It has initiated an intense debate over the question as to which Islam should the nation follow – ‘theirs’ or ‘ours’, the ‘firebrand and intolerant’ kind that rejoices at Taseer’s murder or the ‘gentler, peace loving and tolerant’ kind that abhors this murder and demands death for the killer. For the vast majority, this murder has underscored the need for the state to firmly rein in religious fanaticism and anarchy and protect the fundamental rights of the people.

While the place and importance of religion in the lives of people cannot be minimized, the extremists at the same time cannot be allowed to take the Pakistani people hostage to their views by committing and encouraging crimes in the name of religion. They not only violate the law but also the universally accepted injunctions of Islam.

The Afghan-Taliban model of brutal enforcement of orthodox Takfiri Islam based on elimination of dissent and rule through fear and coercion was used by the Pakistani Taliban to take control of the autonomous tribal belt (FATA) bordering Afghanistan. Later, using the same tactics they established control in the adjoining settled area of Malakand and terrorized people into submission. Though they were eventually defeated and expelled and writ of the government was restored by the military after a massive operation in Malakand and South Waziristan the damage was done. The reluctance with which the state proceeded to confront religious extremism in Malakand sent a wrong message and encouraged extremists to extend their operations in other areas of Pakistan.

Although these fringe elements do not represent the entire society, yet by creating an environment of fear, they have succeeded in dominating the social discourse and public policy thus inhibiting free exchange of ideas and the journey towards enlightenment. This creates an impression, both domestically and internationally, that Pakistan’s social and political life, its vital systems from social attitudes to culture, values and ruling ideas are in danger of succumbing to Talibanization. Some religious groups even tried to give a new meaning to the beliefs and statements of Jinnah – the founding father, betraying their intentions of trying to move the country towards theocracy, a concept that Jinnah had openly and forcefully rejected over six decades back, as does an overwhelming majority of the people today. 

Not only have mainstream religious political parties, who have always professed to be moderate in outlook, failed to decisively condemn the extremists and their brand of Islam, some of them have even eulogized Taseer’s murder, in an obvious attempt to gain support among those segments of the population that have been won over by the extremists. Their desperate efforts so far to widen their social and political support base did not succeed as is evident from their failure to secure even a respectable representation in the assemblies. By glorifying a religious murder they now hope to keep themselves relevant to the debate, uphold their image as champions of Islam and win some political space, even if it means fanning bigotry and intolerance and pushing the nation back to the days of medieval era Inquisition.

There is urgent need for the government of the day to effectively correct this course before it is too late. Although a difficult task, yet it cannot abdicate its responsibility. The civil society, the intellectuals, if we have any honest ones left,  political parties with liberal and middle-of- the-road agendas and even those with Islamist leaning, must all come together to stop this madness. 

Unfortunately, the past politically weak governments have shied away from confronting the issue of religious extremism, for religion is a sensitive issue. They preferred to sit on the fence because taking a position against extremism could mean clamorous rabble-rousing clerics exploiting the situation by mobilizing their bands of followers to stage street demonstrations and creating trouble. This could also hurt political fortunes of those who depended on conservative and religiously inclined rural constituencies some of which are breeding grounds for militancy. Failure of the state to stem this tide of extremism has already cost heavily: social structures are shaken to the roots, economic development is at standstill, fissiparous tendencies show signs of gaining strength and the country’s image is tarnished. 

While the nationalist historical narrative generally traces the rise of religious extremism to the two Afghan wars and General Zia’s use of religion as a tool to perpetuate his rule, the real causes are often missed. The religious right can best succeed in an environment dominated by ignorance, social injustice and poverty and it is exploiting precisely these factors.

Pakistan’s literacy standards are dismal. Sixty three years after its birth it can boast of only about 45% literacy rate. Mainly the rural population, almost 70%, has lagged behind in education and consequently in economic development. Historically conservative, their lack of education and awareness relative to urbanized populations makes them an eager audience for orthodox, semiliterate clerics who in turn play in the hands of religious groups with self serving agendas. Financed by these groups, religious schools have mushroomed in these areas providing free education and boarding facilities to poor children, a blessing for parents who cannot even afford to raise them. Product of lopsided curricula the youth coming out of these schools adds to the number of religious fanatics and is often exploited by extremists and militants for their purposes.  The denial of social justice to the disadvantaged segment of the population has brought enormous suffering. This results from the dominance of the feudal and the moneyed class in all spheres of national life that puts them in control over public policy making. Corruption and poor governance makes matters worse. Common man in the street sees no hope of things changing for the better. This disillusionment and loss of hope is the worst enemy of any society.

Poverty is another factor that shifts the social balance of power in favor of the religious right. The increasing poverty levels in the country during the last three years have reached alarming proportions and the ever increasing gap between the rich and the poor causes a sense of deprivation and alienation among bulk of the population, promoting crime and extremism. Terrorists, militants and suicide bombers with religious orientations come from this poor, deprived and marginalized segment of the society.

If poverty goes unaddressed and if Pakistan’s electoral elite continue to plunder the country using all foul means to amass wealth at the expense of the poor, there is a danger that the militants who have taken over the religious right will exploit this to carve out a big enough chunk of social support base and challenge the status quo with violence. 

This would be a dangerous development. All political upheavals and revolutions have had their roots in poverty, denial of justice and ignorance while religion was used as a vehicle to motivate people into action. The most recent and relevant to Pakistan’s contemporary conditions is the Islamic revolution in Iran where the clergy led the dispossessed to an uprising against a powerful U.S. backed monarchy, and with success. Flawed state building, expediency based politics in the clutches of vested groups that deny participation to the middle class , poor governance and flawed distribution of wealth must immediately be addressed, if this danger is to be averted.

Just go through Transparency International’s reports for the years 2009 and 2010 and see how many states have traveled towards the starting top serials of the corrupt states. Problems created by corrupt states somehow or other do affect the world community. So the matter stands as food for thought for UNO and the EU.

A surprise for citizens of Normal States:
Gentlemen citizens of a normal state are surprised for a question in mind “Why a whole country should be a corrupt state when law enforcing agencies and judiciary are there”. They just can’t believe that the so called politicians, without even minimum leadership qualities, are the culprit. Duping the simple and credulous masses by vicious slogans and tactics, they manage to grab the power chairs to usurp the resources of the state. They paralyze the law enforcing agencies and the judiciary to save special murderers and criminals from capital punishment. For arrest of common criminals of political interest, it is very common for the law enforcing agencies to wait for the orders of the ruling lot. Corruption thus penetrates to every nook of the entire social set up, enlisting the country into serials of Declared Corrupt States.

In under developed states parasites join politics:
Politicians of corrupt states, howsoever learned, are mostly self oriented and ever un-satiated. Patriotism is far beyond their comprehension. They always behave to be too loyal to differentiate between legal and illegal. Anything suiting their group is legal, otherwise illegal. In international affairs they are always apologetic and shy even if they are 100% on the right. Reason for that is that they are absolutely un-introduced to initiative and creativity. They are always after imitations without assessing the nature of problems and requirements of their own citizens. If they happen to embower only ten percent of the love and regards that is inborn second nature of the politicians of normal states, the corrupt countries will start taking positive turn, acquiring status of donating for other needy states.

Vote Bank:   
Under-developed and newly independent nations generally suffering from poverty, illiteracy and economic problems need selfless, honest and competent leaders. Corrupt politicians make use of the poverty and innocence of the people inventing the term “Vote Bank” managed through effectively deceptive statements. They greedily worship this Vote Bank and for its maintenance they are ever ready to surrender even highly sensitive interests of the state. Vote Bank, the prime tool of continuous or continual source of grabbing power chairs, is the source of prosperity of their families, kinsmen, foreign business units and safety from payment of income tax. Most sensitive national responsibilities are assigned to incompetent lethargic party members commanding sizeable parts of the Vote Bank. They hate to understand that services to Vote Bank and interests of the state and nation are opposite poles of magnet.

The worst specie of politicians in a State:
Sources of riches and income of a person dominates his/her behavior towards others. Persons whose incomes ooze out of risky investments and serious mental and physical handwork, bear a highly responsible attitude for other individuals. On the other hand persons enjoying riches and daily income without investment and mental & physical hard work, bear a frivolous attitude toward other individuals of any status. There sense of responsibility is over-diluted. Consequently these categories of persons, howsoever institutionally qualified, are the most unsuitable persons for any national responsibility or any political activity. These gentlemen are described as under:-

1- Persons with flow of income out of sources that involve zero investment.
2- Persons enjoying regular income with zero physical and mental hard work.
3- Persons with perennial income that is always all-profit-no-loss.
4- Persons with daily income that is never affected by fluctuations of market rates and the international currencies.
5- Persons with daily income out of which income tax is never paid.

For security of state, its citizens and its generations, gentlemen of above stated sources of income must never be trusted for any national responsibility. With plenty to eat and plenty to play with, these persons have never faced a problem to solve in life. So their grey matter is not accustomed to solving problems of a whole nation. Their act of joining political parties is simply to feel that they do exist.

Manipulating the terminology ‘Democracy’:
In all enlisted corrupt states, most of the political parties manipulate democracy through false slogans, banners, posters, oratory and purchase of votes. So independent opinion of voters is adversely affected. Consequently the results of polls are never fair and the successful candidates are mostly wrong persons. Such distorted shape of democracy is the principal cause of growing corruption. Without eliminating this distorted shape of democracy no state can get rid of corruption.

Remedial device:
Above whole detail invites the attention of supreme bodies of a sick country. Disasters created by fake politicians have to be faced by a state’s supreme bodies along with the citizens. Fake politicians are always on their toes to leave for abroad even through undefined routes. The whole setup of political system, political parties and the politicians should, therefore, be subjected to following refinements:-

1- Scrutiny of manifesto of every political party.
2- Vetting of top members of political parties starting right from high school education.
3- Devising of code of ethics for party elections.
4- Tenure for holding party positions to be restricted to seven years period only during life span.
5- Supreme Courts permission for appointment of ministers for various offices, as in corrupt states ministries are distributed as pleasure gifts and not for running the affairs of the state for long term positive results.
6- Supreme Court may sag incompetent ministers on the basis of one year’s performance.
7- Supreme Court to decide the extent of power of the Election Commission of a State.

This remedial instrument deals only with the status of declared corrupt states, without taking any incentive from the prevailing successful political systems in the world. Certainly a political system successful amongst 95% literate citizens can never succeed in states where the citizens and consequently the members of the parliament have only 10 to 40% literacy. Without taking this drastic difference into consideration, international pressure for democracy suggests only work field for Transparency International. Corrupt states are mines of problems for the citizens as well as for the world community. Taking a country out of the list of corrupt states means relief for the world community.

National Supreme Council:
For application of the above instrument, needed amendments / additions in the existing constitution of a corrupt state, a National Supreme Council of following members may be constituted by Honorable Chief Justice of a States’ Supreme Court:-

a- Three Army Chiefs or their representatives.
b- Seven Bar-at-Law Advocates with history of good reputation.
c- Seven PhD Educationists.
d- Three PhD Religion Scholars.
e- Seven Senior Politicians holding at least M.A .M.Sc degree with transparent life record.

In very backward countries, where some of the members of NSC are not available, professors and scholars of foreign universities maybe invited in consultation with the heads of the defence forces and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of concerned state.

It is specifically opined that only the National Supreme Council, whose every member is well educated and trained, should be considered as authority to suggest modifications in this device. Naturally illiterate or less educated members of the parliament can never even dream of a whole nation’s future. And future of a nation is important than merely winning of general elections.

Mr Siddiqi, I am sure you know what Obama stands for. Please let me add a bit on this score. The whole world knows him as a staunch defender of the policies of Israel who is flanked by and pushed around by Zionists. He has also earned himself the distinction of being a true successor to George W. Bush since stepping in the White House because he has not only followed the war policies of Bush but also extended the war of aggression in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He is responsible for the almost daily killings of the Pakistanis by drone missile attacks. Let us keep in view the fact that his hands are sullied with the blood of hundreds of innocent Pakistanis and there is no end in sight to such savagery. Obama does not stand for: kill first and explain later. He has a freehand in killing by his advanced technological devices and as far as he is concerned that is the end of the matter. Why? Because he represents the power of American imperialism, military-industrial complex and the corporate interests. That also means there is no inhibition or restraint on what he does. The determining factor in all this is the global military power and influence of the United States.

Will Obama do anything to stop India from its inhuman atrocities and oppression in Kashmir and seek a solution to the Kashmir Issue? I think, we should come out of such make-believe world of illusions. He wouldn’t do anything of the sort. There are many reasons for that. At present American imperialism, India’s Hindutva leadership and the Zionist rulers of Israel are close strategic and military partners. The last thing on their agenda can be solving the Kashmir Issue. They have other considerations for the region and the Middle East!

As far as the present Pakistani rulers are concerned, they are pawns in the hands of the Washington rulers. They dance to the tunes of or the crack of the whip of the Pentagon and the State Department obediently. They have allowed the United States military to use Pakistani airport Shamsi and other military facilities to launch drone attacks on Pakistanis. In return for American money and to appease the Washington rulers, Pakistani army in Waziristan has been acting as as a mercenary force killing and destroying its own people. So American drones and Pakistan army supplement each other. They are making the world safe for democracy and advancing ‘American’ values!

Fears have been expressed for a long time that successful resistance by the Pashtun Taliban against American occupation of Afghanistan and the imminent defeat of the "International Security Assistance Force" (ISAF which amounts to NATO led by the U.S.)  would force Pentagon to broaden the theatre of war into Pakistan citing the presence of Taliban and Al Qaeda in its tribal areas to prolong the war.

If, as the polls indicate, the Republicans gain control of the US Senate in the coming mid terms, the Neocons, Tea Partiers and the conservatives can push for more attacks inside Pakistan on the plea that Taliban cannot be defeated unless their sanctuaries in Pakistan are not destroyed, a line that Pentagon takes.   

Some American writers opine that Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas (or FATA) would likely become the war zone on the pattern of ‘mission creep’ of Vietnam. Just as the Americans blundered into Cambodia and Laos to destroy the communist camps and lost the war, they are itching to make a similar mistake again.

Civilian Control of US Military in Question

But the Pentagon seems to be in no mood to wind down the Afghan war in compliance with President Obama’s plans. Its escalation into Pakistan would enable the Pentagon to put off America’s Soviet-style humiliation for another day and try to save its international power from being undermined. And then one must not forget it is wars that feed the American ‘military industrial complex’, as President Eisenhower pointed out in his famous speech.

The danger of such an eventuality is real, despite President Obama’s assurances of a lasting friendly relationship with Pakistan, unless the Obama White House reigns in its military leadership, which has shown signs of defiance, and assert civilian control over the nation’s war policies.

A Declaration of War on Pakistan

If Pentagon gets its way, this would be an extremely dangerous development. Amounting to a declaration of war on Pakistan, there is no way the Pakistan Army can sit back and watch US/NATO troops initiate action inside its borders. ISAF would then be pitched against half a million strong battle hardened Pakistan Army, in addition to the Taliban and same Pashtun tribes that straddle both sides of Pak-Afghan border.

If the US/NATO forces have not been able to subdue a far lesser number of Taliban fighters, how would they fare against such a force, remains to be seen?  

One thing is certain though. This will give a new dimension to the American-led war in the so called AF-PAK region, send South and South West Asia up in flames and cause a huge set-back to American regional interests.

For the last nine years, Pakistan’s forced involvement in the American war in Afghanistan, which the deranged Neocons called the ‘war on terror’, has brought nothing but death, destruction and suffering for the people of this country. It destroyed peace and stability and promoted a culture of violence and religious extremism. People are up to their necks with the consequences of this American adventure. Not content with what Pakistan has been through, the Americans continue to insist upon it to ‘do more’.

The recent threat by General Petraeus to undertake unilateral military operations inside Pakistan if the Pakistan Army failed to comply with the demand to eliminate the militant groups in North Waziristan, particularly the Haqqani Network, was followed through by NATO gunship helicopters, which violated Pakistan’s airspace in Waziristan’s Kurram Agency and attacked a border outpost on September 30, killing three Pakistani soldiers and injuring two.

Petraeus’ ‘Get Tough Policy’ and ‘Testing the Waters’

American media reports say that Gen. Petraeus, supported by President Obama’s national security advisor James Jones, strongly pushed for these attacks and convinced Obama administration to follow a “Get Tough Policy” towards Pakistan. This also resulted in an unusually high number of drone attacks recently.

These incursions and attack by gunship helicopters were interpreted as an attempt to test the waters and gauge the response of Pakistan Army. The justification advanced for these violations – “hot pursuit” of insurgents, was rejected as mere cover up. The Pakistan Army argues that ISAF commanders in Afghanistan know very well, and so should their pilots, that there is no agreement with Pakistan over the rules of “hot pursuit” and this meant that pursuit, no matter how hot, ends where the ‘red line’ of Pakistan’s border begins. 

Islamabad Retaliates

To firmly nip in the bud any ISAF ambitions of building up on this little adventure, the Pakistan Army lodged a strong protest calling for an inquiry and so did the pliant, US installed, Zardari government in its own feeble way. ISAF agreed and the inquiry found the firing incident and earlier helicopter intrusions to be violations of Pakistan’s air space and deaths of Pakistani soldiers an avoidable mistake. 

Islamabad demanded public apology, assurances that this would not happen again and action against those responsible for the deaths of Pakistani troops. Pakistan Army made it clear that these acts on the part of ISAF constituted a clear violation and breach of the UN mandate under which ISAF operates and this would not be acceptable in the future. Military sources also clarified that the said mandate “terminates” at the Afghanistan border and any impression being created by ISAF about the existence of an agreement over rules of “hot pursuit” is not factually correct. 

Coming on the back of intensifying public criticism of drone attacks, the helicopter attack caused the public anger to boil over. Both the army and the government had to act, and act they did. As a retaliatory measure, one of the two supply route crossings at Pak-Afghan border was shut down indefinitely, only to be opened ten days later after hectic efforts, apologies and assurances by ISAF.

ISAF imports 80% of its crucial supplies, from food to oil, through Karachi port which are trucked to Afghanistan after travelling over a thousand miles through Pakistan to two border crossings at Torkham and Chaman. At any given time 3000-4000 ISAF containers and tankers, reportedly guarded by undercover Blackwater operatives, are on Pakistani roads, tearing up the roads and causing traffic jams.

The route closure caused a supply chain fiasco for ISAF. In no time, over 10,000 containers and fuel tankers were lined up on Pakistani side of the border, while stocks ran low in Afghanistan. Pakistan was well within its right to withhold a facility it provides to ISAF, not under any contractual obligation but as a gesture of support. During the 10-day wait, about 150 oil tankers and containers were torched by suspected Taliban and angry Pakistanis.

When launching their ‘get tough policy’ General Petraeus and the Pentagon underestimated the response of Pakistan Army that came to them as a surprise. According to Washington Post they even expected the border crossing to reopen within three days. Although in his book “Obama’s war” Bob Woodward says that US intelligence had "indicated the Pakistanis believed the US would not jeopardize their relationship" because of its dependence on Pakistan for its supply routes to Afghanistan, this was not taken into account.  

Strained IR, Distrust and Forced Apologies

This strained relations between Pentagon and the Pakistan Army. Reportedly the crisis in US-Pakistan relations and the supply chain trauma that the ISAF had to face on account of route closure led to Jones’s departure ahead of his planned retirement later this year. Gareth Porter, writing for Inter Press Service, reports that “President Obama has clearly abandoned the tough line toward Pakistan represented by cross-border helicopter attacks and accelerated drone strikes in an effort to reduce tensions.”

In pushing his unilateral escalation of force General Petraeus allowed the element of distrust to creep back into US-Pakistan relations which President Obama had taken pains to remove after a long period of strained relations. 

NATO Secretary General Anders Rasmussen was the first to regret the incident, pleading that the killing of three Pakistani soldiers was unintended. Initially dragging their feet but later under White House directive the US Ambassador in Islamabad – Ms Anne Peterson and ISAF Commander – General David Petraeus, made public apologies. This was followed by a letter from Admiral Mike Mullen to Pakistan’s army chief General Kayani expressing his deep regrets over the incident.

Pakistan’s Gains Leverage Over ISAF

By closing the border crossing, Pakistan established a powerful leverage over Washington and US/NATO command, one it can use in future to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty, stop cross-border raids and curtail drone attacks.

By forcing Washington to back off, Pakistan conveyed several clear messages. Pakistan is no Afghanistan and could not be taken for granted; its sovereignty and its national boundaries must be respected; its patience also had limits despite its close alliance with the US; and carrying the war into this country of 175 million people would, after all, not be a piece of cake. It also carried the reminder that Pakistan’s assistance remained a key element in ISAF’s operations in Afghanistan and is dependent upon respect for its sensitivities.

Although US/NATO command pretends that alternate supply routes via Central Asian countries could be used, the fact is that this will involve massive airlifts and time delays and has not been found very viable. 

Pakistan Defends its Sovereignty. May force drawdown of Foreign Troops in Afghanistan.

This episode also made clear that the term AF-PAK coined by the Americans was a misnomer and should not be misinterpreted to mean that Afghanistan and Pakistan can be lumped together by ISAF for operational purposes. Pakistan is a separate entity, a sovereign country, which jealously guards it geographical boundaries. The mandate that ISAF was given for Afghanistan neither applied to Pakistan nor could it be extended to it.

The resulting scenario might even influence Obama administration’s thinking towards the war in another way. US officials have concluded that the war will remain unwinnable unless Pakistan changes its policy towards suspected Taliban sanctuaries in FATA. But if Pakistan refuses to change its policy and persists with a firm stand like the one it took recently, and if this forces Washington to back off like it did now, this might strengthen President Obama’s hand in insisting on a drawdown of troops to begin in July 2011. 

There are wide spread concerns about a spiraling rise in CIA drones strikes in Waziristan that are inflicting heavy casualties. For several years CIA drones have attacked targets within FATA that were labeled as insurgent sanctuaries. While the US calls every one killed to be a terrorist, the fact is that numerous innocent men, women and children have lost their lives or have been injured and maimed. The seething tribesmen who suffer these losses become Taliban sympathizers, some even joining their ranks. In the end, the backlash translates into growing militancy in Pakistan.

America indulges in Extra Judicial Killings in Pakistan

The US has no legal mandate for drone attacks within the borders of another sovereign country and these amount to state terrorism that is in grave violation of human rights and of international law. The Zardari government remains completely unresponsive. A former chief of Pakistan’s army, Gen. Mirza Aslam Beg, has demanded of the Pakistan Air Force to shoot down US drones – sentiments that are widely shared by the people and the rank and file of the armed forces.

Word has been leaked by Zardari government that it follows an agreement between the former regime of President Musharraf and the US administration in allowing these attacks. Being an extremely important issue of public interest this agreement, if there is one, must be released to the public.

The government is bound by the Constitution to protect the life, liberty and property of its citizens and is therefore under obligation to revoke this unlawful agreement, unilaterally if necessary, as it illegally allows a foreign government to slaughter non combatant Pakistani citizens on mere suspicion of being terrorists, without apportioning blame or giving them a fair trial.

And if the Zardari government deliberately turns a blind eye to the killings of its citizens by a foreign power in exchange for the $2 billion in US aid annually and tens of millions of dollars in “black” payments it receives from CIA, it becomes an accomplice in the extra judicial killings of its citizens and must be held accountable.

There was another trouble obstructing our functioning. The area contained routes of smugglers who generally passed through that area in the evening daily. According to local information every member of these smugglers groups was expert in use of arms. When I had been busy on duty with a team, we were suddenly apprehended by a harsh voice from behind the bushes at a distance of about 40 meters. Immediately I could not understand any thing. With the hearing of very first voice a 17 years old local boy of our team abruptly stood in front of me at s distance of two meters. This Baluch boy was in complete Baluchi dress with Turban on head. We did have single courageous body guard but against many expert shooters he was not enough. Baluch boy was exchanging dialogues with the smugglers in Baluchi. During a pause, I was told that the smugglers wanted us out of the area at once failing which they were going to start firing. Baluch boy was highly intelligent, confident and courageous. With a loud voice he told the smugglers, “I belong to such and such tribe and we are not going to leave this working position before completing our work. After this information if you want to start firing, you will be firing at me and my tribe”. Now I understood why the boy had abruptly stood just in front of me. With unflinching courageous declaration of the boy there was a pause. Then a voice came from smugglers “ok. We will start firing in case any one of you tried to move toward us.”

Baluch boys of this particular area are highly cultured and behave like elders because they are reared like that. Parents desire to see them grow like responsible adults and they put in every effort for that. Dress and general behavior of teenagers give every indication that the rearing by their parents has been very successful. I have visited all parts of the country but I am most impressed by the gentlemen of this particular area. I do not have any doubt that in case of similar incident in any other part the country, any teenager would have run away over to some safer place.———– To be continued…..

People of Tharparkar very much love their desert. They never even think of going out of the area. Most of them do not know abut the green plains and hills of Sindh and Punjab with canals and channels of sweet water. If at all they are informed about the beauty and availability of all that, they neither get stunned nor show any degree of interest in that. They deeply love their desert, their animals and their very mode of living. They do not have any interest in agriculture lands, canals, railways, roads, aeroplans etc. I informed a herd owner about villages and cities of other part of Sindh and asked him ‘why you don’t try to settle down somewhere there’. To collect a few words that could be understood by me, he held five fingers of his hand together in the upward direction and after a few silent moments, replied, “Sahib! Akk jo kero amb ma nahen reh sakt hai: (Sir, insect born and surviving in bitter bush, cannot survive on mango tree).

International border is in no way any obstruction for them. It is usual with them to cross and re-cross the border anytime and any number of times they like. Their cigarettes, tea, sugar and other victuals are brought from the Indian side nearest shops. Their marriages are sometimes arranged on the Indian side. They are absolutely peaceful and harmless Pakistanis. Up to our r stay there, we never heard of any activity against the interest of the state. They neither steal nor usurp. Nothing criminal had been heard about them.

My section for demarcation of International Boundary was extreme North and extreme difficult. Southern sections were quite populated and approachable by vehicle. Our colleagues of southern sections enjoyed vegetables and watermelons daily. Above all they enjoyed meat almost daily. Mr. Mansoor Ahsan especially enjoyed meat free of cost twice daily. He had a sweet water well in his sector which was dwelled by countless grey pigeons. Early in the morning when the pigeons were still in, he used to cover the top of well by a cloth with the help of his team members. Then he used to down a piece of wood into the well disturbing the pigeons to fly out. Tactfully the men will slightly raise the cloth catching quite a number of birds. When the catch was consumed by the team, the operation was repeated. Too much of everything is bad. Mr. Mansoor suffered from bleedy piles and for rest of the period he did not disturbed the birds anymore.

During a movement on duty we had been camping at right bank of Nara canal, an ancient branch of Indus River. Weather was a bit hot. We did not have any assignment to do as the field programs were under planning. During a hot noon I suggested to Mr. Manssor for having a bathing in cold water of Nara canal. He readily agreed and carrying a strong long rope, we reached the active bank of the canal. Estimated depth of water was 18 feet. I proposed that I should be the first to start jumping and bathing. In view of the depth of water, Mr. Mansoor tied the rope tightly around my waist as precaution against any mishap. I enjoyed three jumps up to the maximum depth. Then came the turn of Mr. Mansoor, I tied the rope around his waist and he freely jumped into the water. After coming to the bank, he was about to jump second time when we were alerted by a loud shouting of a local man who was running towards us at full speed. Astonished we waited for moments to let him reach us. On reaching us what he told us was horrible. He said “Although the whole of Nara contains killer alligators, but this particular reach is well known for abundance of these creatures. So many people crossing Nara canal have been devoured by these creatures. So many dead bodies of sinking boats have never been found inspite of rigorous search. I am very astonished to see you alive after jumping so many times. You must have been vanished at the very first jump into the water. It is an extra ordinary miracle that you both are alive”. We both deeply felt that it is God’s special power that we are still alive. We thanked God.

Nara canal or Nara river otherwise looks extremely charming running through sandy desert. Desert sand takes away sizeable volume of water out of its flow, still its flow is perennial. Its right bank was motor able along which journey will always remain a pleasure.———– To be continued…..

Tharparkar adjoins west of Rajputana (now Rajasthan), the Great Indian Desert. Jeselmer, Bekaner and Jodhpur are prominent cities of the area. People of this area have a very attractive culture and they are proud of their culture. Their body complexion is mostly light black but their features are highly appealing. Men wear shirt and Dhoti with Turban on head. Boys at seven or eight start using turban. They are highly cultured and respectful. I shall never forget an eight years old Hindu boy who according to their custom accompanied me a short distance to see me off in complete neat dress with turban on head, a cloth sheet on shoulders and small golden earrings in both ears, he was an impressive model of his culture. His way of talking and listening was gracious. On reaching my camel he joined both of his hands towards me as a gesture of farewell and very calmly returned to his home.

Women generally wear red colored dress from head to ankles. Females’ beauty in the desert is God’s special gift. Without any type of make up and dieting, they are embodiment of perfect fitness in every respect. There are no face creams, no fruits and vegetables to eat and no skin care bathing soaps, still the general health is perfect. It invites the scientists to explore and record the health secrets.

According to my knowledge collected from the locals of various villages. Hindu Thakurs allow marriage of their daughters with Muslim young men. Muslim religious leader does his own way of binding the couple in marriage and Hindu religious leader manages couple’s walk around the fire. I was told that Hindu Thakur wives prove to be the most loyal, helping and cooperating in facing the rigors of life. I was told that these wives not only rear the children but also respect them as Muslim individuals. ———– To be continued…..

When misappropriators achieve governing power in a country in the guise of patriots, the subject of criminology fails to define the degree of heinous crime, this is became they not only deceive a whole nation but also mercilessly deceive numerous future generations for centuries to come. Vicious tactics of these architects of Corrupt States have countless variety of guises beyond the comprehension of credulous majority of voters. Further, they are supported by corrupt elements of various media. Most of the political parties have their own newspapers and journals for adversely affecting the independent opinion of voters. In addition to that corrupt politicians have their own propaganda gangs moving from door to door, presenting the corrupt figures as Angles.

Corrupt States are no loss-all profit domains for the corrupt politicians who are well aware that they are worthless creatures for any other job on earth. Such conception might be a reaction of the agony of failure even in the dirty jobs tried by them in the past. They were thus attracted by politics in any of the developing countries where there is no responsibility, no result orientation and no answer to questions. They are simply required to issue statements and read lectures written by paid writers. So they join some political party that welcomes membership of most worthless individuals for the reason that such members always prove permanent asset for the party in all circumstances. This way the lot of lethargic worthless people comes on track for becoming big land lords within minimum possible time. Protocols, salutes and security guards are additional pleasures. There are numerous conspicuous examples of pre politics failures and state of poverty, changing over to abundance and affluence after entry in to the politics.

Corrupt individuals join political parties to serve their relatives instead of serving the nation and the country. They provide jobs to their relatives for highest salaries without any job to do. They award contracts to their kinsmen in which they have nothing to do with any type of construction work except to receive cheques. Their relatives’ joint ventures with renowned organizations are only for receiving the shares of bills passed under the impact of their membership. Corrupt politicians provide safety to criminal party members. They will not hesitate to issue statements in their support and in support of their crimes.

Corrupt politicians serve their fore fathers by naming roads, railways, bridges and parks after their names. They manage this inspite of the clear fact that none of their fore fathers and elders ever contributed anything for the country or the people.

Some political parties award membership to such figures whose source of income and riches are hate-worthy. How anybody can expect even a gesture of sincerity from individuals whose blood is saturated with incomes internationally disapproved, though slipping the grip of law.

When a jumble of misappropriators grabs power by 100% treacherous tactics, in the guise of patriots, the departments of crime control are paralyzed. Playing hell through the source of power chair, they poke their nose into the functioning of every department and institution of the country including the department of Justice and Law. The functioning of institutions are thus disturbed and irritated adding to the problems of the people. Degeneration of country’s institutions ultimately leads the country over to the list of declared Corrupt States.

A government leader of a declared Corrupt State, while on a visit to his native town for meeting the family elders, had a cordial sitting with the gentlemen. An unscheduled and unexpected questions and answers automatically erupted. Following is the story of some of the questions and answers:-

Q- I have heard that you are making a lot of money out of the job. How?
Ans- Not legally Sir!

Q- Did you assess your capabilities before grabbing the position?
Ans- It was not necessary because I have learnt a universal reply from some previous rulers, to deal with the international demands and stresses and that is ‘Yes Sir, I fully agree’.

Q- Do you know that there are small countries whose leaders do not accept dictation form abroad?
Ans- We cannot risk our party’s governing period. We know how we have got votes.

Q- Have you ever thought that people’s scarifies for this country, are countless?
Ans- Well nobody told me about the details of these. I will try my best to have knowledge of most of these as soon as I get back.

Q- How do you tackle difficult situations of the official responsibilities?
Ans- Well I take everything easy because protocols are adequate. Security is reliable and so many people work on my behalf.

Q- What about your relations with other senior party members?
Ans- Well, our aims and attitudes are same so we mutually support each other for all mutual interests.

Q- Do you know that people can agitate as soon as they understand that they have been doped?
Ans- Most of our senior party members have well maintained houses abroad. For other members we have pre arranged corners for shelters.

The desert embowers profuse number of large size black scorpions. They look horrible. If you are quite comfortable seated on a piece of carpet, you can not imagine what is happening beneath the carpet. Following accident explains a little. One of my team members was extremely punctual in offering Muslim prayers at prescribed times. He was washing his face and hands to get prepared for pre-sunset prayer on a day. He usually prayed inside the tent where two carpets cover the sand. On the particular day, he managed to spread a piece of carpet outside his tent. Everybody saw that this piece of carpet was over used and had so many small holes in it. He started praying with deep concentration as was his usual way. As we saw him putting his knees on the carpet, he forgot his prayer, abruptly ran away from the carpet and started running to and fro on the sand. He was emitting pitiable sounds in pain with a hand on his left knee. The loudness of his painful voices became louder with passing of every moment. Immediately nobody understood what happened. Some thought his knee must have been pricked by some bush-thorn. Some thought his knee got dislocated. Everybody however, immediately approached him for help and asked him the reason of his pain. Between sobs of pain he simply said “Scorpion, scorpion”. Everybody understood the problem. Two team members ran toward the rangers’ port for medicine. Others started soothing him by cleaning the attacked spot on the knee. After a while we thought of inspecting the piece of carpet. When a member pulled up a corner of the carpet his face showed signs of horror. Underneath the piece dozens of scorpions had gathered. All of us joined to kill them. The affected person told us that the pain and burning was extreme. He kept crying for hours. A ranger 6.5 feet tall and exceptionally heavy weight, moved to a corner tent to laugh comfortably. After some tine he gave a reason for his uncontrollable laugh. He said “So many times our rangers and local men have been attacked by the scorpions, but I have never seen them crying like that. It is simply very very funny for me. The name of this ranger man was Ibraheem and he was from Balochistan province. Ibraheem was the source of courage and fun for us during our entire stay in desert. When he used to laugh, his whole body seemed to be dancing which made everybody laugh without reason. On the other hand the scorpion affected member was known for his experience in creating rifts between two persons or groups. Outwardly he seemed to be the most through gentleman. Inwardly he was always very very busy in managing various kinds of disasters, still nobody could ever point a finger toward his nobility. The scorpion, perhaps, got angry with his plots. On the other hand, with positive use of his intelligence he could gain mines.

There is another item of quaint information about this area. During December and January, night temperature in deserts falls considerably as compared to the other areas. I did know this phenomenon already. So for camping I selected foot of high sand hill, considering that this low place will keep us warm. The ranger, on duty with us, opposed this idea. He said top of sand hill is much warmer at night as compared to its foot. We laughed at him. It was very foolish of us all. We did camp at the foot of sand hill and the following morning everybody complained that the cold was unbearable. Nobody still believed the ranger. Next night when we were feeling very cold in tents, the ranger man entered my tent at about 9 PM and informed me that he wanted to show me something if I agreed t follow him. I agreed and followed him towards the top of the sand hill. It was unbelievable. The top of the hill was very very warm and cozy. ———– To be continued…..

Peoples of Sub-continent have been ruled by foreign invaders for many centuries. Countless freedom fighters were mercilessly slaughtered. Generations have bees deprived of a lot in every aspect of human life including civil amenities, health and education. Invaders choosing permanent settlement in the territory remained wasting the resources of the country on luxury and monumentations without any project of perennial benefits to the sons and daughters of the soil. No productive projects were started for providing regular livelihood to the people.

Non resident invaders regularly transported all types of the rich resources of the land over to their mother land. On leaving the sub-continent, they left behind quiet a baggage of problems, continuously generating rifts in the region affecting the whole world. They totally failed to furnish a political and soundly governing system suiting the social requirements of the peoples, they had been knowing deeply during the 150 years period. After their departure, their continuing system only helped the politically incapable figures, proficient only in duping he simple illiterate poor people for bagging majority votes to grab the power-chair for misappropriations resulting in elected and non elected greedy dictators, ultimately enlisting the country amongst the declared corrupt states of the world.

During these dark periods peoples have steadfastly upheld the values of their culture and social traditions. Certainly they deserve every honour and respect for this extra ordinary and outstanding determination. Justice and respect for the blood of martyrs of independence struggles now demand respect for local cultural and social values. Being the custodians of the most ancient civilization of the world, this need becomes all the more binding on the peoples.

Assault against Traditions:
Assault against the traditional values of the peoples of the Sub-continent, is as serious as the foreign usurpers. Affected citizens behaving in alien manners develop a class distinction, very injurious to local social harmony. They miserably deceive themselves to simulate as modern. To be modern has nothing to do with wear, dialect, littering hair and alien manners. To be modern in shortest possible terms is:

· To acquire powers of productive creativity for minimizing dependence on others.

· To possess capabilities and courage to solve day to day problems.

· To assess the future necessities in advance.

Peoples must be proud of their traditions, cultures, titles, appellations, denominations and etiquettes. For citizens suffering from use of alien manners instead of beautiful local etiquettes, I would like to translate two verses from poetry:-

“Is it love for slavery or abyss of mental stagnation that has taught slaves’ etiquettes to Muslims of sub continent” (unknown).

“It is conspicuous tendency of knowledge and know how of the slave nations that it matters little if Earth squeezes to accommodate them, there is vast accommodation in the Space” (Allama Iqbal).

Imitation of alien etiquettes might be need of peoples with obscure past. Mastering in a foreign language carries a no obligation for using it in daily life. Learning a foreign language for international contact and communications does not bind anybody to forget his own medium of speech. So many people learn various foreign language but they never start using these at home in routine. Mastering a foreign language is a pride of a student and not of a language learnt.

There is a very beautiful example to be mentioned here. A white European studying for his masters degree in Saraiki language (medium of communication in south Punjab, Pakistan) in Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan (NWFP, Pakistan) during 90s of last century. Local students of his class and students of other subjects around him generally used to ridicule him for his selection of the subject, but he never cared. One day a few local students gathered around him and asked him about his comments for selecting Saraiki for his degree. He told them that he feels honoured to be the master of so many languages of the world. The students said that it was so ordinary a language to learn. On this the European student was slightly irritated. He said “If you think so, then translate ‘abrupt’ into Saraiki for me”. All the translations that the local students produced belong to Urdu, Punjabi and Sindhi languages. The students then got ashamed. They completely failed to translate such commonly spoken word into their very mother tongue. The European student kept calmly smiling. Finally the local students requested him to translate ‘abrupt’ into their mother tongue. At that surrender, he translated it as ‘Abar hoti’ in Saraiki. Everybody was stunned for his deep knowledge of their mother tongue.

So this was the pride of the European student. He certainly did not start using Saraiki terminologies on retuning to his home in Europe. He never called his father as ‘Peu’, his mother as ‘Mai’ and his wife as ‘Zal’. Cannot we learn reasonable and sensible from this example? We must resume straight Mata, Pita etc forgetting Mama, Papa etc for good.

Needed Contributions from Teachers / Educators:
As the future of children is jeopardised by greedy inland TV channels, educators face additional challenges. Going through this short article, they need to re-assess their serious responsibilities towards children under fear of God Almighty. They must educate the children against negative effects of television programs by explaining hell of difference between the tiresome job of shooting scenes and final presentation for showing those scenes. Some countries manage to educate their children by displaying shooting process of some scenes. Children take TV as reality. We must guide them that when two persons appear on screen, there is team of 10 to 15 workers accompanying the camera that we cannot see, in December 2007, a visiting 9 years old boy of Punjab origin, born and brought up in West, after watching sex displays in advertisements and dramas on TV, innocently remarked, “I came to meet and see values of East but they are no different as compared to West. In USA, they do care for the children.

Adverse role of States’ T.V. Channels:
There is Hades of difference between cinema and TV. TV is a domestic device for the families, not section of any film industry. There seems to be no controlling authority as States’ TV channels are indulged in misappropriations of permissions drastically. Ridiculously they expect thanks for showing odd scenes of film industry in advertisements on domestic device. They are voraciously rejoicing ‘mauj masti’ and ‘kushal mangal’. The sole aim is to snatch the last penny out of citizens’ savings, in exchange for false ads for false materials, suggesting whether or not you need an item, do possess it by hook or crook, by fair or foul. Mode of all TV ads gives a very shiny impression about the spending power of the people as compared to that of the people of Europe, America or Japan. These ads are awesome surprise for the poor of the society. Elements of silent dissidence start developing, causing eruption of multiple crimes, especially sex crimes which have reached a stage where minors are target now.

TV channels money-making will remain unaffected even with neat introductions of the products, still they are party to very very sexy tricky ads, involving display of body sections of women, to grab that particular Penny which the citizen decisively intends to save. How else do you define treachery? TV channels degrade women, insult traditions, and support the boost of crimes. Sex agitating ads are becoming principle cause of VD’s and Aids day be day. Boost of social and sex crimes are becoming highly serious problems for law enforcing agencies and the health departments.

The management of these TV channels is absolutely incapable of assessing:-

· Effects of sex displays in conservative societies.

· Effects of sex displays in a sex-free society.

Similarly they are too intelligent to understand:-

· Ad is to introduce item with its good or bad qualities.

· Ad is not to introduce couple, group and naked dances on excuse of an item.

They totally forget that the device provides source of information and education for the whole family. They behave to be totally outsiders, unconcerned with the disruptive consequences of resultant social disarray of their sex displays. So the greedy groups in guise of media, misusing media for money making, sowing social evils to be reaped by citizens’ should be sorted out and control or eliminated completely.

Published evidence of TV channels share in boost of Crimes:
Destructive effects of the ads, songs, dress shoes, beauty shows etc. have already started very conspicuously. I would like to quote three touching representative examples of human sufferings, resulting out of TV sex displays:

Ø The daily, ‘The News’ (Pakistan) dated 26.06.2005:

‘New Delhi. An Indian couple and their three children committed suicide, unable to bear the humiliation caused when the older daughter eloped ……..’ This is the most pathetic example of mankind’s history that happened due to TV channels’ sex exploitation in a conservative society.

Ø ‘The daily Jang News’, 2005 (translated):

‘Scenes of social promiscuity on TV channels, destructive for the generations, must be stopped. Resolution of an Indian state assembly. Wadan Bohon, India (News report) ………..’

Ø ‘The Daily Jang’, 2008:

A 16 years old boy committed suicide for the reason that his parents refused to buy him a new motorcycle displayed on TV, in place of one already under use with him.

In addition, the daily news papers are filled with sex crimes and other negative effects of TV ads. Everybody knows that birth and growing of children is a continuous process, so for God sake save the children and control the TV channels.

TV channels forget that they are operating for the peoples, where Hindu, Christian, Muslim and Sikh ladies forming above 98 percent of women population cover their heads in token of sincere respect for hundreds of centuries of old traditions of distinctions. States’ Think Tanks are required to contribute measures for security and conservation of the cultural and traditional values for the peoples of Sub-continent, a territory of distinction amongst the nations of the World. This will contribute to the territorial harmony as well as to the security and law & order in the constituent states, as well as to the world as whole.

Things that can be learnt and shared mutually by all nations of the world:
1. Generosity, hospitality and sacrificing are the basic human qualities of the peoples of the Sub-continent.

2. Training and guidance of children with utmost diligence. Tremendous efforts are a must in this direction. The goal is very far for us. In Tokyo, in 1999, a six years old Japanese boy rushed and gripped the wrist of an engineer from Sub-continent, furiously shouting “This way you will make my country dirty. Pick up this empty cane from the road and come with me to drop it in waste container”.

3. Respect for use of time and justice to duty with honesty.

4. Sound planning before start and practical concentration instead of mere words.

5. Sincere respect for law. No support or favour for wrong deeds.

6. When offered a position of serious responsibilities, think a hundred times, whether are not you are really up to the mark for that, under fear of ALMIGHY God, Parameshwara, Rabb, Jesus Christ, Budha.

Fundamental truths, certified by history:
1. Peoples insulting and hating their own traditions remain suspended in disgrace and disrespect.

2. Peoples internally weak, corrupt and torn by crime are dominated or conquered by foreigners.

3. Peoples becoming habitual of relishing foreign aid (Alms) and debts are never free peoples.

4. Peoples delaying or interfering with process of justice, do not live long.

Killing of thousands of scholars makes little difference as compared to destruction caused by a tiny group of greedy corrupt rulers.

There is no doubt that regular daily exercise and simple diet can do wonders for the human body. Such regular program is sure to release considerable burden on hospitals and the private clinics. Regular daily exercise is basic need of human body and mind without which the process of physical deterioration silently starts. Simplest possible diet completely eliminates all simple and complex health problems. Mr. Jack Lalanne blames highly processed foods for many health problems. He recommends an organic and vegetarian diet. He suggest two simple rules for nutrition i.e. “If it is man made, don’t eat it, and if it tastes good, spit it out”. In his book Live Young Forever, he explains how he has remained healthy and active well into his advanced age. His feats of strength, Health Spas, TV shows, videos, inventions of exercise machine and equipments and books on nutrition and fitness indicate his deep interest in human health. He is a great source of incentive for everybody to keep fit in all circumstances.

Neglecting Lalanne’s guidelines for health is courting simple and complex diseases for regular appointments and contacts with the physicians and world of medicines. It is now beyond any doubt that allopathic medicines do cure disease at the cost of introduction of more then one diseases for human body. So anybody can judge that their will be no end to ever new health problems. Better value Mr. Lalanne’s sincere and appealing guide lines to remain healthy and young for life. This favors you 100%.

Without regular exercise from the young age, digestive and other health hazards considerably increase in age above 55 resulting in poor nutrition, ultimately causing early symptoms of weakness. Over processed and canned foods with added cups of tea and coffee, result in zero support to the body strength. Resorting to high doses of vitamins and minerals instead of fresh fruits and vegetables create problems. By resorting to regular exercise and simple nourishing foods, one can eliminate chances of over weight, heart diseases, hypertensions, raised blood pressure, diabetes and osteoarthritis.

For unlimited numbers of times that managers have given their commitments that such and such dams can never be constructed but certainly some dams are about to be started from which sufficient electricity shall be available after only about seven years period. By that time uncountable numbers of students might be derailed from the track of their career for not studying properly in dark. In the meantime uncountable numbers of infants will grow for sharing the darkness along with adults. Uncountable numbers of elders will be transmitted from over land darkness to underground darkness. The managers informed the citizens that special arrangements are being made for power generations but nobody is seeing the results of those efforts and the New Year has set in without electricity.

There is of course a news for the citizens. With heels high and chins up it has been declared that in spite of extreme shortage of electricity, its cost per unit is being increased. Similarly for gas, although its pressure is not up to that mark yet its cost has been increased. This New Year’s package for the citizens who can very well note how efficiently things are being managed for their benefits.

We have heard about mid night dance for greeting the New Year but it was later informed by one of the spectators that dancing youth belonged to parents who had the resources for affording own power generations for indefinite period. In a way they have been rejoicing over more than 50% dark hours during every 24 hours period, on the average.

Pakistan has already gained 5 more marks in corruption as declared by TI (Transparency International). In additions to that it has gained many times more marks in increased poverty. Foreign debts have increased by many billions. Very poor economic conditions have created insoluble problems for poors who form major part of the populations. This situation is causing increase in various social crimes beyond the control of law enforcing agencies who cannot stop suicides, selling of children, disowning of babies and numerous other invisible crimes.

This country had been achieved to be another welfare state amongst the nations of the world. Due to incapable politicians and greedy dictators, its condition started deteriorating in every aspect of human life. The rulers have not been able to give even least possible regards to thousands of children, women and men who lost their lives and property merely for the sake of independence.

There are two kinds of camels in this area. Load-carrier camels are called ‘Laddu’ and fast running camels are called ‘Mahra’. ‘Mahra’ camel can cover 20 miles an hour in desert consisting of high sand hills and stretches of loose sand. ‘Mahra’ camels are always slim and smart. One can easily judge that they are built for running. If ever you made a mistake of whipping a ‘Laddu’ camel for running, your whole skeleton will be shaken from joint to joint within a few hundred feet only. When you are riding a running ‘Mahra’ camel, you have comparatively least body movements. ‘Mahra’ camel naturally cares for his rider and with specific movements of his whole neck and head, dissolves most of the jerks. ‘Laddu’ camel does not care for the number of jerks to his rider.

On seventh day, November 30, 1960, we reached our destination from where we had to start our professional assignment. It was the northernmost sector amongst all the teams. Name of the place is Sanahu Tar. Here I had to meet my Indian counterpart for deciding the start of work. My counterpart was Mr. Sidh Gopal having a Master’s Degree in Mathematics. He was a medium height handsome Youngman who later turned out to be a jolly nice fellow. He was a very good company.

There was a Rangers’ Post on top of a sand hill of Sanahu Tar. Post Incharge Mr. Ghulam Muhammad was a leaned person. He had adequate knowledge of defense, politics and history. He had trained a bitch for chasing and catching deer. They called her ‘Neelo’. Apparently the bitch looked very ordinary but she had amazing speed for chasing the deer. Her performance was unbelievable. Here highest record of catching deer was four during a single fore noon. Very early in the morning she will reach the bed of her master and pull him by his shirt repeatedly until he was on his feet to start for hunting. In case a deer escaped her chase, she will go on hunger strike for the rest of the day. In addition she will choose some remote corner of the post and with her head inside her legs, she will remain motionless to display her shame and remorse. Then at sunset a team of two or three attendants will approach her, pat her and softly press her legs for no less then half an hour, after which she will agree to eat something.

Sanahu Tar Post Incharge had maintained a library containing quite a variety of books on many subjects. I studied some books out of his library and gained a lot of extra knowledge. This helped me in facing the rigours of the desert. Our drinking water was carried from a distance of 20 to 40 miles and the camel-men were doing this duty with perfect responsibility. Rations were managed from 80 miles distance from the nearest possible market, only once every month. On arrival of the ration load we enjoyed vegetable only for 3 to 4 days. For rest of the whole month we lived on grams and potatoes. This was gradually causing considerable loss of body weight.

After solving all the technical and administrative difficulties by the headquarters in both the countries, actual work was started during second week of December 1960. Camp to work site was 5 to 7 miles distance that had to be covered daily on foot. As the work continued, the middle of the day started becoming hot with the passing of every date. It became hotter by the end of January. The weather became suitable for the desert snakes exactly matching the color of the sand. By chance you could step over a snake to prompt its attack. ———– To be continued…

A – On path to Democracy:
Logic of prescribing same pill for patients of diversified aliments generates diseases of incurable nature. Dictation of the same paragraph to a Ph.D as well as to an illiterate, ends in pre-known results. Democracy is being forcibly advised for peoples least mature to be benefited by it. Peoples with very low rate of literacy, corrupt politicians, custom of bribery, extreme poverty, financial upset, appalling state of law and order, etc, are totally ignorant about the worth of western democracy which is being forced upon them by governments of developed countries. Application of western democracy in corrupt states is like reciting holy book for a deaf. Infact citizens of corrupt countries are badly in need of honest and selflessly sincere group of dictators to provide them opportunity for introduction to the values of democracy through education, jobs and dependable status of law and order. Non corrupt countries must accept such groups of dedicated dictators because the neighboring countries and the whole world is sure to be benefited by the calm achieved through them. Such dictators are sure to rear the population towards the status of democracy enjoyed by developed countries. When that stage is achieved, the citizens will certainly classify the corrupt sections through democratic behavior. Advice of 20^th century British Scholar is highly meaningful and provides solution to world problems.

Peoples of under developed countries are not at all being benefited by the mode of electing the leadership. Corrupt politicians manage to dupe the citizens by extremely intricate strategies far beyond their comprehension. Peoples of these states have been ruled by foreign invaders for hundreds of centuries. Colonial rulers never planned introduction of the form of democracy suiting peoples’ culture and traditions. Forced western democracy has profusely added to the complications for their very survival. Corrupt politicians on one hand and various mafia groups on the other, have very badly affected their lives. State of survival with respect and dignity is getting worst day by day. Procurement of justice is getting hard. Weak is being suppressed beyond imagination. Collective effect of all these generate extremism and terrorism affecting the whole world.

B – Strategies of corrupt politicians for getting elected:
1- Thousands of yards cloth and tons of paper is destroyed in banners, posters and photographs of politicians. These materials are wasted mercilessly. In one single roads crossing of a town or city, four to eight banners and posters are hanged at different angles imploring the same request that only this leader or this party deserves the vote and all the rest asking for vote are simply deceiving the people. So deep rooted is the greed for power-chair that inspite of appearing almost daily on TV screen, the political figures are fond of hanging their photographs everywhere. Main roads and highways are treacherously covered for almost every kilometer on the average. Corrupt politicians will not hesitate to lie by swearing on holy books that these banner / posters are public managed. For people of judgment such wastage of natural resources indicates that the politicians are incapable of doing anything material for the state and the people. Display of their photographs and slogans is the apex of their active service to the nation. After coming into power by hook or crook, they manage to grab country’s moveable and immoveable property and transfer country’s wealth over to foreign banks. In some cases they themselves elope with country’s wealth and do not return until the atmosphere is perfectly harmless.

2- They address big public gatherings and speak about failures of previous Governments, criticism about other politicians, very very colorful promises of turning the country into paradise, respect for merit, jobs for everybody, bread clothing and housing for everybody, rule of law etc. They know that they are simply deceiving the people for getting votes. They teach the people to sell their votes for money through gangs specially employed for this purpose. Elected independent MNA’s / MPA’s are purchased at sizably high cost. All this results in formation of a corrupt government that paves way for incapable greedy dictators.

3- Corrupt politicians manage to turn the state into their family property. So father / mother to son / daughter rule over the country continues. Every family member will say that he / she has been ‘fairly’ elected by the people. This is a ridiculous shape of western democracy forced upon the corrupt states.

4- They believe in nothing about nationality, religion or even God except for the power-chair, still you can see them absorbed in deep meditation in some temple or mosque or shrine. With raised hands and extremely humble appearance, they only deceive the masses for votes, because they are well aware that these masses are decisive vote for the power-chair.

5- Through a history of decades they have not done an iota for the citizens or the state, still they will produce a long list of deftly engineered excuses for their failures.

6- They patronize and use groups of mafia and criminals for access to power-chair. As a result of that they surrender citizens’ rights of security, peace and law & order. Such situation results in eruption of individual and collective extremism and terrorisms, adversely affecting the peace and tranquility of the whole world.

7- Through use of all vicious tactics, when they come into power, they play havoc with the public funds, property and legal constitutional rights of citizens including business communities, creating an atmosphere of unseen corruption and crimes in the society as whole, leading the state to the very starting serials of declared Corrupt States.

A few specific characteristics of the Architects of Corrupt States:

1- Their only capability comprises of winning general elections through tactics of deceiving the simple and credulous poor citizens, forming 90% of county’s population. They leave no chance for really dedicated patriotic people to come forward. Thus satisfying the world community as the peoples representative, they start playing havoc with the entire resources of the country.

2- Being in power they give every indication that they will never retire of die, so they shamelessly trespass jurisdictions of state’s institutions.

3- In every fairly flourishing and progressive business unit in the country, they will explore chances of their illegal ‘Booty’.

4- Their countries are heavily under foreign debts, yet they dress far better than the politician of developed and effluent countries.

5- Their countries worstly suffer form economic and energy crisis, still their standard of living is far more luxurious than that of the leaders of the developed countries.

6- They are ever hungry for profuse numbers of flatterers who always vigorously clap their hand even for the most foolish statement that they produce during any meaning or gathering.

7- They hungrily beg appreciation for fulfillment of their normal responsibilities. They even beg appreciation for badly belated performances, mentioning these at every forum, with raised heels, for months together. In doing so they look no different from TV screen performance by ‘Mr. Bean’. So they keep playing ‘Mr. Bean’ more oftenly then ‘Mr. Bean’ himself and the state achieves the starting serials of yearly declared list of corrupt states. At that stage they issue a list of engineered excuses proving themselves to be the fault-free angelic figures.

Thus in corrupt states the plight of citizens continues to go from bad to worst decade after decade. Most of such states are under heavy debts and always yearn for non refundable aid from developed states. It sounds quaint that developed countries offer no alternate for such type of democratic elections that simply result in more and more corruption adding to more and more human problems.

C – How to counter the vicious strategies of corrupt politicians:

1. All banners posters and photographs of all political parties and leaders must be banned for ever. These have nothing to do with electing competent leaders. Participants of corrupt states’ general elections must be University Graduates. Unpredictable social, political and economical complexities develop in countries having less educated leaders. Uneducated politicians feel insecure in the power-chair without assistance of various extra ordinary groups. They suffer from intricate drawbacks in abiding by the educated lot of the country’s secretariat. They rely more on the slogan-providing party workers who are mostly illiterate and with whose help they have won elections. If university graduation is considered irrelevant for leading a whole nation, then the nations of the world in UNO will have to openly declare that education has nothing to do with the functioning of the President, the Prime Minister and the Ministers of the country’s ruling party.
2. All pre-election addresses to the public gatherings and door to door chase of voters must be banned for at least 20 years period. Every political party’s president be given a chance on television to introduce his party’s manifesto, only twice before every general election. Election candidate without a recognized political party must be rejected.
3. Faults finding with previous governments must be banned in TV addresses, forever. This specific job should be left to especially constituted bodies and the courts of justice. Every political party should give its own programs for the developments in the country.
4. All routine reception formalities should be banned for ever except for foreign leaders. All movements of the executive head of state must be results oriented. All tours, meetings, prize distributions etc aimed at specific party’s advertisements must be banned forever. Good works of a political party’s government in itself will stand to be the best advertisement.
5. Foreign tours by heads of corrupt states must be allowed or disallowed by a Supreme National Council especially constituted by even number of members from ruling party, the opposition and the defense forces. Heads of corrupt states sometimes go on foreign tours for recreation and Geneva visits. A head of a corrupt state proceeded on European tour amidst exceptional energy and gas crisis at home. Ironically he addressed a gathering of investors for inviting them to invest in his country. Quite expectedly he got gentlemen’s abuses and returned home insulted causing dishonor to the state.
6. Elected members of national and provisional assemblies violating the code of conduct or ignoring responsibilities of their constituency, should be substituted by the runner-up instead of wasting resources on intermediate elections.
7. Executive head failing in commitments of pre-election TV addresses should be disqualified for all political activities, for life.

D – Measures for training of citizens towards Democracy:

1. Voters need not indulge in protest walks as the concerned ministry, under the changed system, must be on its toes to solve the difficulties of the citizens. People should record their complaints with MNA / MPA of their constituency and wait. So all protest gatherings should be banned for at least 20 years period. Temporary restrictions against human rights for the sake of achieving human rights are in no way unfair. To tolerate temporary restrictions is far more respectable than the decades of insult of perpetual deceits extending to generations.
2. Citizens should honestly form their opinion in favor of or against the political parties after listening to their programs on TV twice before the polling date.
3. It shall be the national responsibility of voters not to meet any such person who wants to change their settled opinion. So peace and tranquility will reign on, before and after the polling day, without loss of lives and property.

E – Changes in States’ Constitution of Corrupt States:
1- A National Governing Council of the following members should be constituted by the Election Commission, for requisite changes in the existing constitution of a corrupt state, in view of all above stated details:-

(a) Three Army Chiefs or their representatives.
(b) Seven Bar-at-Law advocates with history of good reputation.
(c) Seven Ph.D educationists.
(d) Three Ph.D religious scholars.
(e) Seven MA / MSc. Politicians with transparent life record.

The National Governing Council must take incentive from the 20^th century British scholar, according to whom a single honest, sincere and selfless dictator can do miracles for a nation. The name of a state can thus be got deleted form the list of Corrupt States.

F – The European Union:
President of the European Union Mr. Herman Ven, according to his statement of November, 22, 2009, in Brussels, can help and can be helped by the sketch of above stated suggestions, for developing a secure world atmosphere.

I myself have seen responsible physicians using even disposable syringe, over and over again in under developed countries.

In fact honesty has not nested in hearts of horrible number of professionals, who keep it pivoted at the tip of the tongue. In case of Aids infections, we have to fight on many fronts, out of which Government can only fight on the front of doctors and paramedical professionals. Even on this one front, the Government will badly fail without strict actions, for the health and future of citizens. Other fronts are as follows:

1. Religious leaders to warn the people against the use of used syringe in Temples, Mosques and Churches.
2. School teachers to instruct the students against used needles, daily at morning assembly or at the start of first morning period of classes.
3. Factory owners, to weekly educate the workers about the dangers of used needle.
4. Family planning staff to alert the house wives during normal visits, especially in villages.
5. It must be the responsibility of all institutions to alert all members of their organizations against the quacks.

If these steps are strongly applied, we will be able to apprehend dishonest medical professionals for healthy future of the citizens.

A man’s stomach gets disturbed with single glass of bitter water. Animals take it regularly without any complaint or trouble. Local people told us that the Camels’ milk also gets slightly saltish due to the bitter water. Inspite of that I had been stunned by the statement of a resident of Nagar Parker who said “I don’t understand why you do not drink such sweet water calling it bitter”.

In local language well is called ‘Tar’ and flat sand fields are called ‘Tal’, whereas sand hills are called ‘Bhit’. In Tals we usually encountered groups of dears and sometimes rabbits jumping from bush to bush. Dears gave every indication of getting surprised to see us. They will stand still to see us then abruptly start jumping at full speed towards some hiding spot. At many locations we also saw partridge.

Scenes of sunset and moon light at night have been especially blessed for the sandy deserts. Green fields and hilly areas are absolutely unfamiliar with such kind of attractive beauty. A person from irrigated areas feels himself to be inside another world on the globe. The tremendous calm is occasionally broken by the sounds of bells of some grazing animals far away. It is perhaps due to this peace filled calm and pure simplest food that people in the area very rarely get sick. Minor ailments are successfully treated by intake of specially processed garlic, onion, egg, spices or some natural bushes. God Almighty helps these people by miracles, otherwise there is no medical aid available near and far. ———– To be continued…..

Conservative brides prove to be good wives and excellent mothers even if they are less educated.

Modern women, modern in any form, are too busy in their dresses, matching shoes, matching ornaments and matching nail polish and lip-stick, to look after the babies to concentrate on their rearing.

Remember! Loose hair ladies do the kitchen work with loose hair (if at all they agree to do that instead of ordering you). So you will have to tolerate a few shampooed silky hair in every dish (please see the TV demonstration of recipe shows on some channels). Particles of nails polish and odour of some face cream might be additional ingredients, denoting love for you. Special boon shall be doctors’ regular share in your hard earned income because loose hair ladies are extremely touchy about every sneeze or sore that you and the children might have.

So be patient and cool and do not behave like an American father who, in era of boys’ long hair, ordered his 17 years old long haired son, never to sit at the dining table when he takes meals. If ever, by mistake, you committed the error of taking a silky hair out of the dish and show it to your wife, hanging it on spoon or fork, you might face a medium thunder of the clouds under clear blue sky. Fashionable ladies are not accustomed to such insult-some gestures. The little exercise shall be ending with a feeling of guilt in you.

Off and on, when the child is crying, you might be altered by an instruction from the dressing room, for soothing the baby only for half an hour. At such a time never offer an excuse even if you have to leave for an urgent appointment immediately. As soon as your wife gets out of the dressing room, always keep your praiseful dialogue ready with selected fancy words.

Fashionable ladies generally go for shopping as a matter of time pass, whether or not purchased material is really needed. In such a condition, always say “O Dear, we needed all this so badly”.

On the other hand a conservative lady will remain to be a blessing for you. No artificial serious makeup, no instruction for babies, no silky hairs in dishes, no dish washing, no washing of clothes and above all no out of the way shopping for mere recreation at the cost of your hard earned money. No regular visits to the doctors. Home is well maintained without your help. Meals are simple but nourishing. Anything good for family is attended with utmost care. Healthy wife, healthy children and healthy home atmosphere. You mind your own business and go ahead as far as your capabilities can proceed.

“Continue journey from morning to evening. Night stay should be at a location where water is available. There is no perfect track for your destination, only the Camel-men will fix the direction through flat sand and sand hills. You have to complete whole work by the end of March, 1961. Instructions for vigilance against snakes have already been imparted and first-aid kit for snake bites has been issued. Historical danger of decoits in the area exists for which you will be accompanied by armed Rangers. Camels’ drinking water is available in the area. Sources of Human drinking water are not less than 40 miles away from your planned camping sites. The Camel-men will manage the shuttles of Camels for supply of water. Stocks of monthly rations shall also be managed by Camel-men only once a month, as these are available at a distance of at least 80 miles. Your salary shall reach you every month in cash, so the Postal Money Orders shall be managed with the ration purchasing team. Camels’ feed is available in the area in the form of dry and green bushes. Be kind to the huts’ residents in the area. Help each other for rations and eatable, etc. etc.”

Camels were loaded with tents, water containers, rations and instruments. So the journey started. I intended to walk my way all along but the team members insisted that I ride a Camel. A row of 14 Camels and about 20 team members looked very impressive and beautiful. Most of the team members were walking on foot. Thank God, they were all healthy and well built. We had our ration for a month and drinking water for 7 days only. Every evening the Camels were set free into the area for grazing and every morning they were collected from the area and loaded for starting the day’s journey. Each day’s camping sites were near a well of bitter salty water which the Camels did not refuse to drink.

There were sand fields and hills all around our passage. These had an exceptional beauty which cannot be seen in irrigated areas and green hills. It is a very beautiful landscape not seen and visited by vast majority of human beings. Shape of the landscape changes after every 500 yards. Colors of sand keep changing from place to place. There are scattered bushes everywhere but no tree. Very rarely if there is a tree, it is carefully guarded for its shade for human beings and animals. Such miracle trees have a well nearby. A scientific research is needed for discovery of its growth and survival in such a harsh area.

Along the route of our journey, we saw small settlements of huts made from dry branches of bushes. Hindus’ villages were disciplined and neat, whereas Muslim villages were in the shape of scattered huts. Hindus’ villages have a disciplined system of proper living. Every such village had its chief whom every individual sincerely obeyed. He is called ‘Mukhia’. At every Hindu village, we were respectfully greeted and offered milk or curd. These Hindus belong to Thakar Rajput tribe. They have numerous Sheep, Goats, Cows and Camels. ———– To be continued…..

Negotiated settlements work wonders and are lasting. Out of many examples, Red Indians have been calmly living their own way of life for the last 120 years. Bullet force even if apparently successful generates un-ending hatred, ultimately causing irreversible destruction, in the process of time. Genuine demands of citizens reflect their concern for the state and for that they deserve honor of discussion towards settlement. Refusing them a dialog is like refusing them citizenship. We do need to learn from our history. We are very badly in need of extra ordinary superb negotiators. Embowering people of most conservative traditions and lifestyle as Pakistanis and asking them to forget their own way of life, is like asking somebody to stand on pivot and then order him not to move.

Extremists’ reactions need to be analyzed as these might not be hundred percent unjustified. We have to discover the elements responsible for tactfully obstructing the implementation of Nezam-e-Adal. It is necessary to quote here late Chief Justice of Pakistan A.R. Cornelius who said “When Pakistan had been achieved for Islam, Islam should govern Pakistan”. This is the judgment of a faithful Christian for the sake of justice.

Blowing our own trumpet of Ideological Islamic Jamhuria Pakistan and permitting running of inland TV channels competing exclusive sex display TV channels of secular Bharat, nullifies Two Nations Theory as well as results in odds of extremism, crimes and corruption. Television is a domestic device for information and learning for the family members with growing and young children. Misuse of TV as cinema hall in sex free social setups may be justifiable. Two Nations Theory means two different ways of living. Two Nations Theory is such formidable power that split the Sub-Continent resulting in creation of a new state with the name of Pakistan. We do not have any right to use TV as public cinema hall like the Indian channels are functioning. Now you are invited to see the get-up of news casters and comperes of Islamic Jamhuria Pakistan. See sex agitating advertisements involving couple dances, squeezed dresses and littering dingy hair. See ongoing business by display of female body limbs. All this invites the conservatives and youth to react in shape of extremism and sex crimes. A venomous treason is in progress against our traditions, against our people and above all against the Two Nations concept. The treacherous elements behind these conspiracies appear to have been working for horrible goals, but right now they have succeeded in turning this most beautiful territory into hell of blood shed and citizens’ miseries.

Now government is claiming that victory is near, whereas news and circumstances speak that extremism is spreading more and more. We need to talk to them at all costs whatsoever. This seems to be the only way of solving this problem for ever. It needs to be mentioned that if the set for lashing a young girl is true, then sets of all scenes of films worldwide will have to be accepted as reality. All those responsible for shooting this set must go to prison. All those spontaneously crying in response to shooting of this set must see the psychiatrist. Countless real incidents of severe punishments to daughters, sons and male / female servants in Punjab and Sindh are matter of daily routine, but nobody cries, because these are real and not result of camera shooting.

Now government might permanently capture the areas by force. This will never work. There is no way out accept to win the hearts of the people and let them live as citizens without unnecessary control and pinching supervision.

Government’s long list of justifications for use of bullet force against angry citizens in Swat and Wazirastan will instantly vanish by a no-more-shooting order from abroad.
